Darin Erstad won three Gold Gloves in his career, in 2000, 2002, and 2004. Interestingly, Erstad played three different positions in these three seasons. In 2000, he played 112 games in left field (and 30 in center field); in 2002, he played 143 games in center field (and 5 at first base); in 2004, he played 124 games at first base.

As measured by Player won-lost records, Darin Erstad deserved at least two of his three Gold Gloves (he was among the best defensive first baseman in the AL in 2004).
