This is Curt Schilling's 5th year on the BBWAA Hall-of-Fame ballot. Last year, he appeared on 52.3% of ballots, a respectable gain over his first three ballots.

I began writing articles about Hall of Fame candidates with the 2013 Hall-of-Fame ballot (which was released in late 2012), Curt Schilling's first year on the ballot. Hence, this is the fifth article which I have written about Curt Schilling.
For this year's article, I look at the players most similar to Curt Schilling in career value, as measured by Player won-lost records. The next table shows the 10 players most similar to Schilling in career value.

I think this list sums up Curt Schilling's Hall-of-Fame case pretty well. There are seven players on this list who have appeared on at least one Hall-of-Fame ballot. Five of the seven are in the Hall of Fame (and I'd probably vote for the other two if I had a vote).
