Al Kaline played his entire 22-year career with the Detroit Tigers, earning the nickname "Mr. Tiger".

The next table shows the top 10 players in pWins over replacement level (pWOPA) across seasons for which I have calculated Player won-lost records (since 1921). For seasons (prior to 1937) for which I am missing some games, player records are extrapolated from the games for which I have play-by-play data.

To be entirely fair, I am missing the first 16 seasons of Ty Cobb's career. But even with that caveat, there are some impressive names on that list, and Al Kaline definitely earned his "Mr. Tiger" nickname.
