Player Won-Lost Records and Brad Penny
Not to be rude or disrespectful, but Brad Penny is not a Hall-of-Famer. He was, however, a fine pitcher for several years in the early part of this century. In fact, there is a seven-year stretch, from 2001 - 2007, over which he was one of the best 25 starting pitchers in baseball, at least as measured by eWins over positional average (eWOPA) earned as a starting pitcher.
